Happisburgh (pronounced "Haze-bruh") is a historic, coastal village in North Norfolk, England and is subject to very rapid coastal erosion. Over the last 15 years, the village has lost many homes, with the coastline in continually retreat. This ongoing project is to create art-work of the now redundant and abandoned structures installed to stop the erosion.

Another Place is a piece of modern sculpture by British artist Antony Gormley located at Crosby Beach in Merseyside, England. It consists of 100 cast iron figures facing towards the sea which are all modelled on the artist's own naked body! The figures give the beach an strange and eerie feeling - you keep catching the figures in the corner of your eye as if there is someone behind you

For landscape photography you can't go wrong with the Lofoten Islands, especially in winter - the light is superb! My one and only (at this time) visit to the islands was a 4 day photography trip in 2014 and hopefully I will go back sometime.
